Hurricanes
Carolina
was 52-22-8 during the regular season
which was second best in the Eastern
Conference. They dropped the first
two games in their opening playoff
round against Montreal, but have won
eight of nine games since.
After dispatching
the Canadians, Carolina took care
of an always dangerous New Jersey
team, 4 games to 1. 22 year-old rookie
goaltender, Cam Ward did not allow
more than two goals in any game against
the Devils, and his hot play between
the pipes has the team thinking Stanley
Cup.

Buffalo tomorrow and -125 to win the
series.

Buffalo
was 52-24-6 during the regular season
for the 4th best record in the Eastern
Conference. They beat Philadelphia
4-2 in the opening round, and shocked
top-seeded Ottawa in the conference
semi-finals, 4-1.
Goalie Ryan
Miller has only given up 2.25 goals
per game in the playoffs, but that
still ranks him last among the four
net-minders remaining.

is +130 in their opening game with
Carolina tomorrow and -105 to win
the series.

Anaheim
Mighty Ducks
Anaheim
was 43-27-12 during the regular season
and was the 6th seed in the Western
Conference. They rallied to beat Calgary
4-3 in their first series, and swept
Colorado in the second round.
Goalie,
Ilya Bryzgalov replaced Jean-Sebastien
Giguere in Game 6 of the Calgary series
when they were down 3-2 in games.
That means that Bryzgalov, a 25 year-old
Russian rookie, is a perfect 6-0 in
the playoffs.
Anaheim
is -165 in their opening game with
Edmonton tonight and -140 to win the
series.
Anaheim
is 13:5 to win the Stanley Cup.

Edmonton
Oilers
Edmonton
was 41-28-13 during the regular season
which made them the 8th seed in the
Western Conference. They defeated
Detroit 4-2 in the opening round,
and came back from an 0-2 deficit
againast San Jose to win 4-2.
Playoff
goalie, Dwayne Roloson and left wing
Sergei Samsonov were both acquired
at the trading deadline, and each
are playing key roles in their run.
Roloson was backing up Manny Fernandez
in Minnesota, but you would never
know it with how he is playing right
now.
Edmonton
is +145 in their opening game with
Anaheim tonight and +110 to win the
series.
Edmonton
is the long-shot at 7:2 to win the
Stanley Cup.
